Senior HR Business Partner

FPSG have partnered with a long term client to assist in the recruitment of an exciting new role in the business. The position of Senior HR Business Partner role will manage, coach and mentor a team of Business Partners and take responsibility for the Talent team.

Please note interviews for this role will be carried and by telephone and VC and with the hiring process remaining uninterrupted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with people managers at the site to determine people priorities and ensure the organisation capability, structure and culture are in place to drive the achievement of functional business goals
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to plan and execute recruitment in line with the project plan. Work with the recruitment team to identify new sourcing channels as required and create talent pipelines for future needs.
  • Work with management to ensure the working environment is aligned with the company purpose & values and drives high performance and strong employee engagement.
  • Acting as subject matter expert for employment law guidance
  • Coach and advise on all aspects of people management, including organisational design, cultural change and people development. Provide feedback and coaching to help develop their leadership capability
  • Provide expert advice and ensure that all people activities and processes are managed in line with the company policy, as well as local regulations and standards.
  • Responsible for governance and scrutiny for strategic papers (prior to getting to board).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Chartered MCIPD (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a range of HR management roles
  • Acting as subject matter expert for employment law guidance
  • Extensive knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Successfully delivered strategic HR projects
  • Demonstrable evidence of leading discussions with and providing advice to Non-Executive organisational leaders (for example, preparing Board level papers, effective participation at Committees)
  • Skilled in combining business insights to provide highly impactful advice and challenge to HR colleagues and senior business leaders
  • Create a working climate which motivates and engages each member of the team
  • Excellent ability in Stakeholder management
  • Substantial experience of providing insights (differentiated for different audiences) through analysing complex statistical data/reports
  • Analytical and organisational skills
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships to work in partnership with trade unions and other employee representatives
