Ciaran Ahern has worked in Technology, Data and Transformation recruitment for over 22 years.
He started his career purely focused on candidates and their experience and grew into a much wider remit, where he was responsible for engaging, winning and delivering on a very wide range of clients, from start-ups and scaling organisations to large corporates.
Although Ciaran leads and motivates teams of individuals and is accountable for overall delivery he is also hands on in his role. Over his career he has covered all aspects of technology and change his current focus is on Development & Data with a particular interested in start-ups and scaling organisations, particularly in FinTech, Life Sciences, MedTech, BioTech and Pharma.
Ciaran’s focus is very much on client and candidate experience and ensuring both himself and FPSG delivery an outstanding service.
As a senior consultant Nichola is an experienced recruitment specialist with a degree in Chemistry and indepth knowledge of the Scientific market place.
She provides excellent support throughout the recruitment process and candidates and clients can rely on her honesty and professionalism.
Nichola enjoys keeping up to date with developments in her field and has a passion for scientific developments and studies, often enhancing her skillset through short online courses. She enjoys helping people and regularly volunteers in the community to provide assistance to the elderly and vulnerable and has enhanced disclosure which allows her to work with both adults and children. She also enjoys taking part in fundraising events for Marie Curie usually through events such as the kiltwalk.

As a PhD qualified scientist, Lauren draws on knowledge she has gained during her time in academia and industry to match great candidates with the fantastic opportunities her clients have to offer.
Inspired by the book 'Start with Why', Lauren understands the powerful positive impact for both employees and employers when their core values align and will strive to establish such rewarding relationships.
Joining FPSG in the spring of 2021, Lauren brings her years of experience within the scientific sector to the team.
Jade joined FPSG in August 2021, specialising in the Scientific market with a focus on the qualified and non-qualified space.
As a holder of a Biology degree, Jade is able to use her skills and knowledge of the industry to provide exceptional service to her candidates and clients.
Jade works closely with her candidates in order to provide excellent support throughout the recruitment process.
Tracey Joined FPSG in September 2021 as the new Office Administrator.
She is responsible for all office administrative processes, including Payroll, Contract Management and general office administration for both the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.
Tracey enjoys writing and creating music in her spare time and also enjoys building meaningful relationships both in her work and personal life.
Coming from a banking background Tracey brings with her a range of skills in relationship managing, office organisation and client support.
We plan to host a range of activities on a quarterly basis to highlight specific awareness days such as International Women’s Day, National Careers Week, Workers' Memorial Day and World Mental Health Day.
