MI Data and Reporting Manager

£40000 - £45000 per annum + Bonus + Company Pension

FPSG have partnered with a long term client in the search for a MI Data and Reporting Manager to be based in their Glasgow City Centre office. The individual will play will a vital role within the business, including leading a team analysts to provide MI across a number of operational areas whilst also driving the self-reporting capabilities.

Key responsibilities of the MI Data and Reporting Manager:

  • Oversight and accountability of a comprehensive suite of management reports, providing the business with robust, accurate reports both ad-hoc and to an agreed cycle, and change management of such reports to ensure focussed business analytics.

  • Reduce the time taken to produce reports and increase the accuracy of data within the reports.

  • Develop solutions for effective data analysis and reporting including ensuring accuracy of information, developing metrics and presenting findings in a non-technical manor.

  • Ensure efficiency of data outputs - ensure automation of reports wherever possible.

  • Identify reporting and/or system development requirements where necessary to support this.

  • Support the development of presentations and reports on performance.

Skills & Experience

  • Highly experienced in data management in an operational environment

  • You will possess a strong Customer Service ethos, be commercially minded, results driven and used to meeting deadlines

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & reporting tools to prepare and analyse large datasets

  • Knowledge and experience of quantitative analysis and methodologies

  • Experience of the management and data analysis of large datasets and of presenting the results of data analysis

  • Experience in building relationships with Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of Crystal, Business Objects, Tableau is advantageous
