Introduction

FPSG is currently recruiting for a Lead UX Designer with proven high-level project experience whilst remaining hands-on with the relevant UX tools. This role will be with one of our customers who require a UX Designer with a background of working directly with customers and stakeholders. Our client works hard to make sure the UX is all about the experience and user needs rather than focusing on the budget and would want a Designer who does the same.

You'll join an existing project with an Agile development team where you will be expected to provide expert UX leadership on a number of new and existing applications & solutions using Omnigraffle, Balsamiq or Axure, InVision, HTML, CSS and jQuery. Your role will also involve mentoring and supporting other UX Consultants on other workstreams, liaising with high-level stakeholders, facing off to the business and consulting on long-term plans.

Role Responsibilities

As the Lead UX Designer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting on new & existing projects / workstreams
  • Work closely with other UX Consultants offering advice & support
  • Produce high quality UX (wireframes, designs, mock-ups, user journeys, etc.)
  • Ensuring the project meets the needs and requirements of the business
  • Lead architecture & UI/UX design

Person Specification

As a successful Lead UX Designer, you will have experience of:

  • Agile - Prototypes, Wireframes and PoC
  • Sketch
  • Interaction Design
  • Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop
  • Balsamiq or Axure
