FPSG played host to another very successful Ladies of Insurance Lunch in the Corinthian Club in Glasgow on Friday 14th October 2016. The lunch was attended by 100 key ladies from the Scottish general insurance marketplace who enjoyed a delicious 2 course meal, followed by a raffle and then for the not too faint hearted the karaoke.

The event was a fun, relaxed and vibrant afternoon/evening of networking and catching up with old friends and colleagues with a charity raffle in aid of a local children’s cancer charity – The Emma Cameron Foundation. The Corinthian venue is perfect for our ladies who lunch with scrumptious food, attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. .

The event is supported by brokers, insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors and suppliers, all looking fabulous and dressed to impress.

Our clients, generously donated fabulous raffle prizes including spa days/treatments, restaurant and shopping vouchers, luxury candles, cocktail making sets, chocolates and the most sought after prize – gin tasting kits. As well as raffle tickets, the ladies couldn’t buy enough of our charity cupcakes which were also kindly donated. They raised almost £1,100 for our chosen charity.

After some cocktails, wine and prosecco, the karaoke started. Ladies of Insurance certainly “do” have talent. We had solo artists, groups and even backing dancers late into the night.

These lunches have been happening now bi-annually for 6 years and are very quickly sold out, often within 24 hours. The next Glasgow Ladies of Insurance lunch will be in April 2017. FPSG’s general insurance division has strong connections within the Scottish insurance marketplace and plans on hosting lunches in Aberdeen and Edinburgh in the not too distant future.
