Position Overview:
FPSG Life Sciences is working with a leading biotechnology company committed to the discovery, development, and commercialization of innovative treatments and therapies in Oncology. They are dedicated to improving the lives of patients worldwide by advancing the frontiers of modern medicine.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Epidemiology to lead our Real-World Evidence (RWE) team in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of epidemiological research, real-world data analysis, and the ability to drive innovative strategies for data collection and analysis to support the development and commercialization of our product pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, academic partners, and external collaborators to advance our understanding of disease epidemiology and real-world treatment outcomes.
- Design and oversee the execution of robust observational studies and analyses using large healthcare databases, electronic health records, and other real-world data sources to generate insights into disease progression, treatment patterns, and patient outcomes
- Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams on the integration of RWE into clinical development plans, regulatory submissions, and market access strategies.
- Provides scientific and strategic input to Product Management, Engineering, and Business Development colleagues by applying knowledge of epidemiology and real-world evidence generation to our offerings.
Qualifications
- Requires graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; (Masters; Preferred Doctorate);
- Requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase study designs as well as relevant guidelines preferred;
- Requires basic knowledge of statistical programming language(s) (e.g., SAS, R, Python
