• The candidate has worked in a multinational blue chip organization delivering a global strategy and global sourcing activities. Client engagements have involved FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and IT.
• Most recently managed a global FMCG client driving a Strategic Meetings Management Program (SMMP) engaging global markets and cross functional stakeholders to deliver implementation on a critical road map. Has deployed a highly successful SMMP into China and also achieved significant savings through the IBM SMMP Implementation

• A Procurement, BPO and Outsourcing professional with both a blue-chip background and hands-on Consultancy experience who is capable of real strategic thinking and energetic team management.
• A confident communicator at all organisational levels, with broad industry and category management experience. An astute self-starter with a proven track record in complex global corporate structures, tough commercial environments and leading large Change Management initiatives.
• Category expert with a European focus in the pharmaceutical arena with experience of HR, Temporary Labour, Management Consultancy, Marketing, Clinical Trials.

• 4 years’ experience as Head of Procurement developing a procurement team from a green-field organisation.
• Strong project and change management experience.
• Developed & implemented procurement strategies and Category Management Processes in Financial Services, Professional Services and Manufacturing.
• Experienced in procuring all indirect spend areas including ICT, Professional Services, Travel, Marketing and Facilities.
• Responsible for building & leading teams that deliver exceptional performance.
• Excellent negotiator with a record of delivering global strategies to enable cost reduction with service & process improvements.

Procurement Consultant (743193)

Contract or Permanent - Scotland
• An MCIPS qualified procurement professional with experience in the Private and Public Sector. A track record of hands-on work in planning, logistics and distribution projects, and ability to lead £67m projects in full compliance with EU Procurement Directives. Conducting full tender processes from Market Review, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ), Invitation to Tender (ITT), interviewing bidders and ultimately contract award using e-Tendering/e-Procurement portals.
• Extensive knowledge of the OJEU and EU Procurement Process
Target salary £60,000 or £430 per day
