Web Application Developer

FPSG are looking to speak to Web Application Developer to join our Client in Glasgow.

You will be required to provide support, maintenance and development of the company's web applications. This is a fast paced environment within the automotive industry so you will be assigned to a variety of projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop new web applications as identified by management through packaged and customized applications.

  • Perform complete testing of web applications unit and system, engaging end users as necessary, including user acceptance testing.

  • Create and maintain supporting documentation around application and development environment.

  • Work with partner companies in development of group web applications.

Person Specification

  • PHP programming, ideally in a commercially-oriented environment

  • Experience of developing in MVC framework environment is required (Laravel an advantage)

  • MS SQL Server maintenance and administration experience

  • Linux server support

  • HTML/JavaScript/Angular/CSS frontend skills

  • Android development using Ionic/Cordova with Angular an advantage

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines, in a varied, fast paced environment

  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

  • Self motivated, detail-oriented and organised.

  • Flexible approach and able to work additional hours as needed.

  • Respond proactively to training, technical support and customer service needs in line with provided guidelines.

  • Good written and verbal communication
