Solicitor - Contentious Construction
Introduction
FPSG, working closely with a highly-regarded law firm, have an exceptional opportunity for a Contentious Construction Solicitor to join their established & busy team in Edinburgh. Our client is continuing to invest in their people during this period, benefiting from their strong performance and success in recent years.
Role Responsibilities
Joining an award winning team, the role will encompass a wide variety of contentious construction matters including:
- Providing advice to UK construction organisations and owners across a range of complex construction and engineering contractual matters.
- Supporting and advising a UK client base of SME's to multinational organisations on dispute resolution matters.
- Appearing court, working directly with owners & construction organisations to on a number of areas including settlements, carrying out investigations & drafting pleadings.
Person Specification
Ideally, you will be qualified with up to 3 years PQE across contentious construction in addition to having strong analytical and team player attributes.
Our client is also open to considering profiles of Trainee Solicitors qualifying in 2020 who have had extensive exposure to Dispute Resolution/Commercial Litigation during their training contract.
