Day rate is £500 - £525 a day, via Umbrella, Inside IR35

FPSG require SC Cleared Business Analyst's (Change) for their central government client in London. The BA will provide a critical role in supporting the development of detailed documentation of business requirements and ensuring that these are incorporated into project and programme business case development and documentation. The BA will be directly accountable to the Programme Manager in charge of the Delivery Services team.

You will be focused on Change overseeing multiple change activities, where the key responsibilities for the Business Analyst are:

  • Creating and supporting the development of business cases by the projects.
  • Continual review and challenge of cases before they are presented for approval.
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to projects in the development of the business cases.
  • Provide a detailed analysis on key areas of the business case, for example cost, time, technical details etc.
  • Clearly set out any risks or caveats that have been identified as part of their activities.
  • Support the project teams in knowledge transfer and up skilling.

The Business Analyst will have:

  • Undertook business analyst activity using formal methodologies and approaches, including collecting and analysing complex data in order to provide concise and meaningful recommendations.
  • Supported the development of business requirements.
  • Experience in reviewing and enhancing business cases and detailed design documents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience in formulating detailed operating model design artefacts, such as governance models, organisational structures, process maps and policies.
  • Experience of working with various stakeholders within a large organisation including managing expectations and dealing with conflicting requirements and priorities.
  • Experience of working in a policing and/or security environment.
  • Experience of building confidence with stakeholders and relationships at all levels.
  • Experience of working in a challenging, change-driven environment


  • Minimum SC Clearance. Candidates must be prepared to go through the clearance process if not currently cleared. Some roles may require candidates to go through DV Clearance.
