Operations Analyst - Finance Trade Support

The organisation has a great blend of working with high profile complex financial products but in an informal environment driven by technology & solutions innovation.

Within your role you will be responsible for coordinating across multiple stakeholders; Technology, Client Relationship Managers, and Compliance, to undertake the appropriate actions. Focused on continuous innovation and support you will have freedom to invent and flexibility to evolve. The restrictions of Enterprise FS are removed but the exposure to complex problems, diverse platforms, data and industry defining regulatory challenges remain.

In this role responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising international with a diverse customer base

  • A first line of triage, analysis and escalation

  • Coordinating between Operations, Technology and Product managers

  • A first line for regulatory, compliance and security actions

  • Leading the identifying and mitigating operational risks

  • Building strong client and partner relationships

  • Critical systems support and maintenance

  • Contributing to future design and product functionality

To be a successful you will need experience of:

Core - essential

  • Knowledge and Understanding (academic or professional) of Derivative Products, including currencies, FX, Commodities, Crypto assets, Equity, Credit and Interest Rates or other OTC derivatives

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, interfacing across all levels and with Vendors

  • Strong verbal and written communication, with analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work to stringent deadlines

  • Ability to partner and lead effectively across geographical boundaries

  • Strong experience of MS Office, particularly Excel

  • A demonstrable practical & functional knowledge of Operations and trade life-cycle

  • Familiarity with trading and back office platforms

*Global client trades are continuous 24/7/365 and as such the Trade Support Team will operated 24 hours a day to keep up with client demands. Shift work will be used which will include night and weekend shifts
