John is responsible for driving FPSG strategy across the group and takes a hands on role in client engagement across our specialist sectors.
His background lies in the provision of executive search services within the Financial Services sector, Sales, HR and Senior Finance sectors.
Joined FPSG in 2004 and appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2010 following successive promotions.
Andrew provides oversight to many of our complex accounts and guidance to our IT and Public Sector divisions, championing initiatives such as Workforce Management and IR35 response.
His strengths lie in providing diverse solutions to client needs and working in collaboration to ensure positive outcomes.
Andrew is dedicated to our community engagement and partnerships and supports our Corporate and Social Responsibility response.
Starting his career with FPSG’s IT Divisional in 2002 and through continued development and promotion, Andrew became COO in 2018.
Michael’s role as Director remains hands-on, allowing him to bringing 18 years of experience to key areas of success for FPSG, which stem from his background in IT & Digital Recruitment Solutions, across most sectors in his career.
A consistent Top-Performer, with numerous 5 Star feedback ratings on Trust Pilot, Michael’s style has always been to lead by example in new business wins, personnel development and being accountable for delivering on commitments for Candidates, Clients, Colleagues and Consultants he works with.
Since joining the FPSG Team in 2014, Michael has been focused on establishing and delivering our capabilities in key growth areas. This includes building our footprint in the Public Sector across Scotland and the wider UK, as well as establishing a Contractor workforce to complement the Permanent and Project based Recruitment needs our new and existing Clients rely on Michael and his Team to deliver in areas such as Financial Services, Legal, Data & Transformation, Consultancies, Government and others.
Michael has been providing IT and Technology & Transformation Recruitment Solutions since 2003.
Ciaran Ahern has worked in Technology, Data and Transformation recruitment for over 22 years.
He started his career purely focused on candidates and their experience and grew into a much wider remit, where he was responsible for engaging, winning and delivering on a very wide range of clients, from start-ups and scaling organisations to large corporates.
Although Ciaran leads and motivates teams of individuals and is accountable for overall delivery he is also hands on in his role. Over his career he has covered all aspects of technology and change his current focus is on Development & Data with a particular interested in start-ups and scaling organisations, particularly in FinTech, Life Sciences, MedTech, BioTech and Pharma.
Ciaran’s focus is very much on client and candidate experience and ensuring both himself and FPSG delivery an outstanding service.

Since 2011 the Living Wage movement has delivered a pay rise to over 150,000 people and put over £600m extra into the pockets of low paid workers.
We plan to host a range of activities on a quarterly basis to highlight specific awareness days such as International Women’s Day, National Careers Week, Workers' Memorial Day and World Mental Health Day.
