FPSG are recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner for our leading global client based in Edinburgh.

Working part of a successful and established team, this is a full time, permanent opportunity to start ASAP,

You will have a dedicated department where you will provide effective, efficient and proactive HR support to Managers and staff of the Customer & Call Centre.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will provide guidance and support on HR best practice and act as a source of HR advice for all employees across the contact centre
  • You will be an escalation point for all line managers on HR related issues, particularly in relation to:
    • Absence management
    • Performance management
    • Discipline and grievance issues
    • Recruitment & selection
    • Employee legislation
    • Employee relations
    • HR Planning
    • HR policy and procedures
    • Departmental issues
  • Attend weekly / monthly operational meetings with designated departments and provide support on HR issues
  • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues
  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring HR contribution
  • Work closely with line managers and L&D Department to ensure effective succession planning is implemented
  • Carry out specific project work as directed
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support HR Coordinators and Executives on all HR related issues and act as a escalation point
  • Identify, manage and resolve potential HR issues

Person Specification

To be considered for this brilliant opportunity, our client does require the following experience/background:

  • Strong HR generalist experience, ideally within a contact centre environment (not essential) and/or large organisation
  • Proven background of dealing with HR related issues
  • Worked part of a HR team support a large site of HR related issues
  • Hands on experience with various HR responsibilities
  • Ability to use own initiative, make decisions in conjunction with line management
  • Strong organisational skills along with MS office experience
  • Proven ability of providing advice and support to team members, staff and stakeholders
