Head of Software Engineering - Edinburgh

FPSG are delighted to be partnering with a leading software development company as they embark on an exciting change journey. The company are looking for a delivery driven Head of Engineering to lead their Dev team, delivering bespoke software solutions to their global clients.

Role Responsibilities

As Head of Engineering your responsibilities will include:

• Be the go to for all things engineering related, including the mentorship and development of your team.

• Deliver high-quality commercial software and input into technical decision making from a strategic and technical viewpoint.

• Recruiting new talent into the high performance team as the business embarks on this exciting growth journey.

• Day to day team management and delegation.

• Consulting with clients and internal teams to deliver the best quality product

Person Specification

• Be passionate about delivering high quality software solutions

• A history of line management and stakeholder engagement.

• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.Net

• Front End technologies HTML5, CSS, JavaScript or React

• Experience of test automation frameworks, DevOps practices and CI/CD
