Front-End Developer

£27000 - £40000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

FPSG are currently seeking a Front-End Developer for a Scottish based client who truly are one the best in their market. With an unrivalled passion for the products they create the business believes in doing better than anyone else in their field.

The role of Front-End Developer will be a bridge between the marketing team and the development team by building campaign pages, improving mobile usability, delivering layouts based upon supplied designs, improving and enhancing on page elements and a range of other development duties. The business believes in developing from within by helping staff with a passion for what they do to continually learn and grow.

Role Responsibilities will include:

  • Building high performance front end applications.

  • Collaborating with designers to build rich user experiences.

  • Writing clean maintainable code.

  • To work proactively with the team to instil quality into our products and practices

To be successful in the role of Front-End Developer you will have:

  • Previous demonstrable experience working with CSS, JavaScript, XML and HTML

  • Experience with responsive web development.

  • Examples of using technical knowledge to propose innovative solutions to creative problems.

  • Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT.

  • Ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
