FPSG have partnered with a leading Public Sector Organisation and are looking to speak to experienced Business Systems Analysts for their Office in Glasgow City Centre. The organisation places technology at the very heart of the business, as a business system analyst you will be working in an agile, multi-disciplinary team, delivering measurable improvements.

In your role as a Business Systems Analyst, you will be a self-driven individual who is keen to develop their career and step outside of your comort zone. Working in a multi-disciplinary team you will work alongside developers, testers and product owners in order to develop great products.

As a Business Systems Analsyt your day-to day duties would include:

-Understanding user needs, riorities and the cvalue behind the product in order to undertake structured analysis and discussion with users, the Product owner and other stakeholders in order to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.

-Validating requirements with relevant stakeholders and coming to agreement on how best to move forward.

-Contribute towards solutions design taking into account possible constraints and benefits enuring appropriate solutions are implemented.

-Striving for continuous imporvement within the team by keeping up to date with emerging technologies.

-Collaborating with developers, testers and others within the team as part of story kick offs, mid storydemos, handovers, desk demos ect.

To be successful in your application for Business Systems Analyst you will have the following experience of:

-Working as either a business analyst, business systems analyst or data analyst with a proven ability of excellent communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including presentation skills.

-Experience of dealing with the full cradle to grave process

-Awareness and understanding of Opensource and Cloud Technologies

-The ability to rationalise complex information and make it understandable to a range of stakeholders who do not have expertise in this area.

-Experience in defect analysis in support of live systems.
