Accounts Payable Analyst

Glasgow - Hybrid working

This is a fantastic career forming opportunity to join an international organisation who have chosen Glasgow as the site for their new Global Business Centre. A centre that will form the core of their back-office functions world-wide, offering outstanding career progression prospects.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Manage the accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to processing, including coding, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices in to reporting system.

* Reviewing and posting invoices.

* Posting 'out of pocket' expense claims for EMEA region

* Verifying and recording petty cash expenses and credit cards based on established criteria and processing the replenishment accordingly.

* Carrying our vendor reconciliation to ensure accurate accounting and outstanding payments to suppliers / Vendors.

* Reconcile sub-ledger and general ledger transactions.

* Respond to queries and audit requests timely and accurately.

* Prepare & run month-end/year-end schedules as required.

* Update individual and team metrics regularly.

* Supporting documents regularly in line with firmwide policies.

* Handles and resolves queries raised by stakeholders in a timely manner.

* Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as required by line manager.

Essential Skills & Experience will include:

* Proven track record in a similar Accounts Payable role.

* Experience within a professional services environment (desirable)

* Comfortable in a high volume, complex environment.

* High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with all staff levels

* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
