Introduction

FPSG are recruiting for our leading client based in Edinburgh City Centre for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their expanding team.

The purpose of this role is to support the partners with all administration and deliver excellent customer care and service to both internal and external clients.

Role Responsibilities

As Legal Secretary your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide first class audio and copy typing to the highest quality
  • First point of contact for calls to the department, transferring, taking messages or responding accordingly
  • Dealing with all internal and external mail
  • Manage all general office tasks including photocopying, scanning and faxing
  • Responsible for all administration tasks
  • Diary Management
  • Other secretarial duties when required

Person Specification

As a successful Legal Secretary, you will possess:

  • Proven experience working within a Legal firm within a Conveyancing team
  • Excellent key board skills, background in audio and copy typing
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Word
  • Good attention to detail
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Highly professional at all times
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
