The Ladies of Insurance Lunch, supported by FPSG, took place on Friday 7th March at Limelight Bar and Grill. The event was attended by 70 ladies from the general insurance marketplace including brokers, underwriters, claims handlers, loss adjusters and solicitors.
This was the 8th Ladies of Insurance Lunch held over the past 2 years in aid of the Emma Cameron Foundation , a children’s cancer charity based in Glasgow. Generous donations and a raffle raised over £400 for this worthy cause.
After a 2 course lunch, networking lasted into the early evening, with old colleagues catching up and new friendships being formed.
This event has become so successful that tickets sold out in 2 days, which I am sure had nothing to do with bottles of champagne being sold at £20 each in the restaurant.
